TIME TRACKER
 
“Time Tracker” is a time management suite which is able to efficiently manage employee attendance and leave processes in various departments of an organization.
     
Major System Functionalities:
 
Time Keeping
 
Automated Time Punching (Using Barcodes)
System can recognize employees by using a barcode reader. Every time an employee swipes his/her card (containing a barcode) using a card reader, the system would automatically mark his Time In/ Time Out using the current time & date.
 
Manual Time Punching (Using Passwords)
The system can also be configured to use manual time punching system. Each employee will be assigned a password by the administrator. Each time the employee wishes to punch in his/her time In / Out, The system will ask for the employee password and will mark the employee attendance using the current time & date.
 
Management of daily employee status
The system will mark each employee’s status according to the company HR policies. The system will keep track of employee In/Out timings and working hours, and will mark their status as late, half absent or absent.

Daily Work Timings Management
The system will maintain a list of daily work timings of the company, for specific departments and for specific employees.
 
Working Calendar Management
The system will also maintain a calendar of vacations and holidays for the current year. Employee attendances would be marked according to the working calendar.
 
Management of Late Timing Rules
The system would mark employees as late, absent or half absent on the basis of late timing rules. The administrator would specify these rules using the admin control panel.
 
Management of Absenteeism rules
The system calculates the total absents of employees on the basis of absenteeism rules specified by the administrator using the administrative control panel.
 
Employee Management
 
Department Management
The Employees of the organization would be organized as departments with specific working timings and department IDs.
 
Employee Data Management
The administrator is capable of managing the employees in each department. The system will automatically assign unique employee IDs based on the department IDs.
 
Employee Id Barcode Generation
The system is capable of printing barcodes to be used on employee cards. This barcode will uniquely identify the employee.
 
Management of Absenteeism rules
The system calculates the total absents of employees on the basis of absenteeism rules specified by the administrator using the administrative control panel.
 
 
Management Reporting
 
Employee Punch In / Out Data Report
The system is capable of generating employee reports based on the date criteria specified. The system generates an Employee In/Out report for the specified number of days and also mentions the employee status for each day.
 
Employee Attendance Summary
The system can also generate attendance summary reports based on the date criteria specified. The report will include the employee names and the number of days the employee was on time, late, half absent or absent.
 
Notification of Attendance Status by Email

The system also has an Email notification system which notifies those employees who are close to maximum absent or late limit. The notification system is fully customizable with the needs of the administrator.
